Donna Michelle Vaughn is a multi-hyphenate artist, educator, and creative whose career bridges Broadway, concert dance, tv/film and higher education. She’s spent over a decade performing in The Lion King on Broadway and was part of the original Las Vegas cast. Her performance credits also include company work with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, DanceWorks Chicago, lead in Jill Scott’s music Video, “Back Together” and award shows including Black Girls Rock and Dancing with the Stars.

As an educator, she has taught extensively through conventions, dance programs, Broadway workshops, Universities and master classes around the country. Her teaching is all about creating a space where people feel seen, supported, and challenged to grow—not just as dancers, but as people.

Donna is also the founder and CEO of Dynamix Works, a pop-up dance experience where you train with industry professionals. With a focus on empowerment, versatility, technique and artistry; providing exceptional dance training for absolute beginners to experienced professionals.

A proud graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University with a BFA in Dance and Choreography, Donna’s teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that every student brings a unique voice, background, and potential to the studio. Ultimately, her goal is focused on building a collaborative, inclusive and responsive environment that empowers dancers to develop both technically and artistically while honoring their individual experiences.
