
matthew lynady
Matthew John Lynady is a professional dancer and choreographer living in NYC. Before graduating with a B.F.A. in Dance from The University of Arizona, he was a scholarship student at the Ballet Theatre of Scranton. He has performed with renowned companies, including The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, Odyssey Dance Theatre, Electric Daisy Carnival, Now Dance Project, Step One Dance Company, Infiniti Creative, and Sony Music.
Matthew has been fortunate to travel the world with artists and companies such as Todrick Hall (Femuline World Tour) and Empire Strips Back, and he has been seen on TV in Season 3 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. He is proud of his work as a choreographer and guest artist with organizations including Perry Mansfield, East Carolina University, The Scranton Shakespeare Festival, Light Opera of New Jersey, and Pixie Aventura. With a deep passion for teaching, Matthew loves sharing his knowledge and experience with the next generation of dancers.
He is currently on faculty at Steps on Broadway, where he continues to inspire students from around the world. He has been influenced by many choreographers throughout his career, having worked for and with talents such as Brooke Wendle, Kellen Stancil, Jennifer Golanka, Will Bell, Tammy Dyke Compton, Maya Taylor, Richy Jackson, Kiel Tutin, and Shannon Lewis.
