Melissa is thrilled to be working with the students at TAPS! Originally from South Jersey, Melissa made her way to NYC to attend Pace University's BFA in Commercial Dance and has called the city her home ever since. She was fortunate enough to get her Equity card at 20 years old workshopping a new musical with Broadway legend, Graciela Daniele. Melissa has primarily worked as a dance captain and swing, touring the country with three National Tours including Finding Neverland, Aladdin and Moulin Rouge and she recently made her Broadway Debut in Moulin Rouge, the Musical!

Melissa has also worked regionally with The Muny and TUTS, Off-Broadway with Carnegie Hall and New York City Center and on TV with The Blacklist, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show, to name a few. She has also worked as an Associate Choreographer for Opera Australia, New York City Center Encores! and the Jimmy Awards, which is the National High School Musical Theater Awards. When Melissa herself is not performing, she loves working with the next generation of dancers. She has been fortunate enough to work with dancers all over the country and hopes to inspire students to never stop creating art!
