Rockshana Desances is a coach, choreographer, and instructor based in Fairfield County, CT, with experience working in both studio and school-based programs. A former U.S.A. Ski Team cheerleader and Connecticut Sun Shine Squad member, she brings a strong performance background into her teaching. She holds a B.F.A. in Dance from C.W. Post-Long Island University, where she performed with the Post Concert Dance Company and created original works in collaboration with fellow artists.

Rockshana has trained across multiple dance styles and emphasizes technique, musicality, and performance quality in every class. Her background in professional sports entertainment, concert dance, and competitive settings allows her to meet dancers where they are while continuing to challenge their growth.

In the studio, Rockshana is known for creating a structured, supportive, and disciplined environment where dancers are encouraged to build both skill and confidence. She works closely with students to develop strong technical foundations, performance presence, and accountability, while maintaining a positive and engaging class atmosphere. She is committed to supporting each dancer’s progress and contributing to the continued growth of the program.
